Unleashing the Hidden Power of the Subconscious Mind

It has been said that a butterfly can flap its wings in Chicago and set a storm in Austin. You may call it a coincidence but those who have experienced something similar call it the power of the subconscious mind.

You probably aren’t aware of this but your subconscious mind has a tremendous impact on your life. Consider it a spider in the center of a web controlling each thread of your life – from the food you eat to the amount of money you earn, to the routes you take to work, to the way you react in stressful situations. Everything happening in and around your life is the result of your subconscious mind.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind is the part of your mind that operates below or outside the normal level of waking consciousness. While reading this, you are primarily using your conscious mind to extract information. Meanwhile, your subconscious mind is busy working behind the curtains, trying to absorb or reject the information based on your perception of the world. It’s like a memory bank with unlimited capacity that virtually stores everything you see, feel, or experience every day, every hour, and every minute. And it does all of that without your awareness or consciousness.

The conscious mind and subconscious mind

The conscious mind and subconscious mind work together. Conscious mind commands and subconscious mind conforms. However, your subconscious mind is 30,000 times more powerful than the conscious mind and to unleash that hidden infinite power, you need to tap into it.

Often, your conscious mind interferes with normal bodily functions by worry, anxiety, fear, and depression. These patterns of thought the harmonious functioning of your subconscious mind, unsettling the peace of mind and besetting the wheels of your thought processes. During these times, you need to apply the law of the subconscious mind.

The law of the subconscious mind

Joseph Murphy, the author of The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, quoted in his book,” As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.”

Every one of us has our beliefs, opinions, and fears. We let these inner assumptions reign and govern our lives. However, their power only comes into effect when we accept them mentally on the subconscious level. But we have the power to choose and if we choose positive over negative, light over darkness, good over evil, happiness over sorrow, we march towards a life we deeply desire. And this choice starts with your conscious commands to the subconscious mind, which takes your every word and turns it into reality.

However, the law of the subconscious mind holds the same for positive and negative ideas alike. This law, when applied negatively, causes failure, frustration, and sorrow. On the other hand, when your conscious thinking is constructive and harmonious, you experience perfect health, inner peace, success, and prosperity.

The bottom line is, if you want to take control of your life and everything happening around you, tapping into the power of your subconscious mind is the first step. Give your subconscious suggestions that heal, bless, elevate, and inspire you in every way possible. Remember to never finish a negative statement. Reverse it immediately and see how wonders take place in your life with a small change.
